I went down to Tubac, Arizona this past Saturday. Originally a Spanish presidio established in 1752, Tubac is now a working artists colony/tourist trap about 20 km north of Nogalas. Most of the shops carry your standard chachki type wares but there were a few stand-outs, notably the Karen Newby Gallery.
