Sliders and Chicago Style Dogs in Phoenix
Yes, I do love a good Chicago style hot dog! Today I had the good fortune to try the Chicago Hamburger Co on Indian School Road in Phoenix…and I must say…this place most definitely lives up to it’s reputation!
I had a Chicago style dog and a couple of sliders and they were both excellent. I can’t wait to go back to try the Italian beef!

Goodbye Luke…you are the existential hero of my youth…the man who refuses to stay down when beaten….who’s great crime is individualism…..Christ figure….allegory….man who paid his dues but has no due….eventually destined for martyrdom…I will miss you.

Alec’s First Cross Country Meet
Alec had his first Cross Country meet of the season today. It was also his first meet ever, as this is his first year doing Cross Country. This particular meet was at home against Kyrene Middle School (KMS). I’m happy to say
that both the Pueblo girls and boys had an impressive victory against the scorpions of KMS and Alec did an excellent job! Go Bulldogs! I thought it was going to be brutally hot, but about an hour before the meet we had a light sprinkling of rain that was just enough to cool it off to a bearable level.
I took a few snaps of the meet, which can be viewed here:
